Yarrow Kraner

FOUNDER, HATCH

Yarrow is the Founder of HATCH, Aspen Institute Fellow, RSA Fellow, and named 2015 top 100 creatives in the U.S. by Origins. Yarrow believes that solving our most pressing challenges requires activated communities, collaboration, and creativity. He was a pioneer of social networking and online communities and has been building global communities for twenty years, and has a passion for unlocking personal an organizational potential. As a Filmmaker, he has directed projects for Richard Branson, The Rock, P Diddy, and more. In 1999, Yarrow created the pioneer online social network, The Hero Project – 3 years before My Space – enabling users to create online profiles, teams, and play online games, to empower real life superheroes (there is a superhero within us all). User engagement was higher than any other youth site at that time, and grew to 1.5 Million users by 2003 when it was acquired by FOX.

In 2004, Yarrow founded HATCH, a network of global influencers and mentors accelerating progress on solutions for the U.N.’s global goals. Thousands of collaborations have resulted. In 2016 Yarrow founded H360, an A.I. machine learning platform as an impact collaboration and human capital optimization platform. The A.I. match-making connects needs to skills and resources for projects improving our world. The platform unlocks full potential of communities, corporations, and organizations, while creating a “Network of Networks.” Yarrow is featured in the book Talent for Humanity, was nominated with the Audfest Impact Award in 2019, and has curated and led think tanks with Intel, Hasbro, Ernst & Young, NASA, spoken at TEDx, Vivatech, EarthX, Day One, and Business Innovation Factory Summit (BIF).
